Mid-Day Dog Walkers / Pet Sitters Wanted Full Time / Part Time

Saving Grace Pet Care, Washington D.C.’s longest operating pet care company, is looking to add to our team! Since 2003, our company has been providing reliable and professional dog walking and pet sitting services to the residents of North East and South East Washington D.C. This opportunity is well-suited for people looking to get into pet care full time, freelancers, stay at home parents, grad students, retirees, bartenders, waiters & servers. Most importantly, our ideal candidate loves dogs and would be ready to start as soon as possible!

We offer very competitive pay with hourly wages between $24-$48, based on services completed.

Basic job requirements

• US citizen or legally allowed to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
• Over 18 years of age
• Able to pass a background check
• Local full-time resident of DC or immediate suburb
• Reliable transportation in the form of a car or bicycle
• Trustworthy, reliable, and animal loving!
• Smart phone, all visits are completed/tracked through our pet care software

Midday Dog Walker Requirements

• Available Monday-Friday from 11:00AM-3:00PM
• Able to walk several miles a day - comfortable shoes are a must!
• Willing to work in occasional bad weather
• Must love dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Previous experience taking care of dogs either professionally or personally is preferred
• Able to commit to this position for 9-12 months from date of hire

Pet Sitting (Cat Visits, Dog Boarding, Morning/Evening/Weekend Walks)

• Flexible part-time work
• Accept visits/work based on your schedule and availability
• Boarding is perfect for earning extra $$ having a furry friend stay with you

We operate in the following neighborhoods as well as smaller neighborhoods in between: Capitol Hill, H Street, NoMa, Trinidad, Eckington, and Brookland
