Direct message the job poster from Aloha United Way Under the general direction of the VP of Community Impact, this position administers and manages activities associated with State funded grant program. This role manages subgrantee relationships and provides direct oversight for required compliance, reporting, and performance standards, all while administering the day-to-day grant activities. This is a temporary one-year, grant-funded position anticipated to run from July 2025 through July 2026, with no guarantee of extension. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ·Maintains all grant and subgrantee files and acts as the primary point of contact. ·Monitors and audits subcontractors on an annual basis or as needed. ·Validate and approve award payments and necessary documentation. ·Maintain sufficient records to enable relevant agencies to determine whether subgrantees are adhering to regulatory requirements. ·Provides leadership and acts as a knowledge resource to subgrantees in regard to the program compliance, reporting, and performance standards. ·Coordinates, reviews, and develops reports in a timely manner on program activities and expenditures as required by State government or other agencies. ·Provides assistance and training to subcontractors and subgrantees. ·Stays abreast of best practices and changes in areas relevant to the grants. ·Investigates and responds to concerns from subcontractors. ·Reports to State government entities or other agencies as required. ·Communicates with and maintain positive relations with grant funders. ·Maintains grant files and related documentation assuring records are kept up to date. ·Conducts in-depth analysis of grant agreements to track and meet critical deadlines of deliverables and all matters of compliance. ·Collaborates with fiscal team to manage and track expenditures as required by funders. ·Provides input to the collaborative grant proposal process based on in-depth research and analysis of the grant opportunities. ·Analyzes and organizes the necessary data for the submission of grant proposals and manages the submission process. ·Manages grant submission, management, and reporting website accounts. ·Supports implementation of grant-funded programming. ·Collaborates with Marketing to increase visibility of grant-funded initiatives. ·Drafts grants-related content for website and various internal and external documents. ·Reports on program outcomes as required. ·This role may be required to supervise support staff . Preferred Qualifications ·Has strategically managed and designed programs and projects ·Able to navigate different stakeholders, partners, and personalities ·Ability to provide objective and thoughtful advice and consultation ·Background knowledge in collective impact work ·Highly collaborative between multiple teams and stake holders. ·Non-profit experience preferred Required Qualifications ·Must be authorized to work in the United States ·Must be able to pass a background and drug test ·Must be located in Hawaii or have pre-existing plans to be in Hawaii Work Environment & Expectations: · This position operates in a hybrid work model, primarily in-office, with remote flexibility. · May require local, and inter-island travel Physical Work Environment and Equipment: · Indoors in an air-conditioned office with possible external meetings at government offices, corporate headquarters, and nonprofit partner sites. · Use of own vehicle for off-site meetings and events. · Frequent use of computers, automated telephone systems, office supplies, financial software, government filing systems, and Microsoft Office 365 Suite. · Monday – Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed, especially during legislative sessions, stakeholder meetings, advocacy efforts, and high-priority organizational initiatives.
