Salary/Hourly Rate: $30/hr Position Overview: The Grants Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the grant process, from research and application to management and reporting. This role is crucial in securing funding to support our programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful grant acquisition and management, as well as the ability to navigate the intricacies of grant compliance and reporting. Responsibilities of the Grants Manager: Grant Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs. Grant Writing and Submission: Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met. Grant Management: Oversee the administration of awarded grants, including tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance with grant terms, and preparing necessary reports. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with grantors, including foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant activities, including applications, awards, compliance documents, and reports. Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to understand funding needs and ensure alignment of grant activities with organizational goals. Reporting: Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, detailing grant status, financials, and outcomes. Required Experience/Skills for the Grants Manager: Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant management, preferably within the nonprofit or educational sectors. Proven track record of successful grant writing and acquisition. Strong understanding of grant compliance and reporting requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Education).
