This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned surgeon to work in a dynamic inpatient and outpatient setting. The Cardiothoracic Surgeon will perform a range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures. Participate in inpatient and outpatient care, including rounding and clinic responsibilities. Take shared on-call responsibilities, including about 10 to 12 days per month, with 2 weekends per month. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary medical team. Utilize the electronic medical records system for documentation and coordination of care. See an average of approximately 20 patients per day. Contribute to building the Cardiothoracic Surgery initiative by joining as the second surgeon. Participate in on-call and emergency surgical coverage. This position is not open to new graduates or truly Board Eligible candidates. It is also not open to advanced practice providers or candidates with lapsed Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Candidates commuting more than 1 hour or working multiple jobs concurrently will not be considered.
