*Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)* position

*Job Title:* Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiology

*Job Type:* Contractual ( 13 Weeks )

*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with outpatient cardiac experience to join our cardiology clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient education, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, health histories, and medication reconciliations.
* Interpret laboratory results and coordinate follow-up care.
* Assist with procedures such as dressing changes and setting up sterile trays.
* Collect and label specimens (capillary, throat swabs, urine, venipuncture).
* Perform telephone triage and handle pharmacy calls for patient refill requests.
* Educate patients on procedures, test results, and follow-up care plans.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage care for patients with conditions such as CAD, HTN, Afib, and those requiring interventions like TAVR or LVAD support.

*Required Qualifications:*
* Current RN license in [Washington].
* Minimum of [2-3] years of outpatient cardiac nursing experience.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Proficiency in EKG interpretation and familiarity with cardiac monitoring devices

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience in family care, internal medicine, or urgent care settings.
* Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS).
* Familiarity with LVAD management and cardio mems monitoring.
