Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers the opportunity to work with elementary students (K-5) in a self-contained classroom specializing in autism. The role involves supporting students who are primarily non-verbal and may demonstrate behaviors such as eloping. Instruction is centered around discrete trial teaching and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies, providing a structured and compassionate learning environment tailored to individual needs.
